Is there a limit on how many AI video projects you keep?
Three pages answer it. Descript allows unlimited projects on every plan and Kapwing on its paid plans; Runway caps projects at 3 on Standard, with a higher cap on Pro. The other pages count credits, storage or seats and say nothing about projects. From 3 source pages, read 2026-09-25 to 2026-10-25; no maker pays to be listed.
| Tool | Limit | Stated on the page |

| Descript | Projects | Unlimited projects on every plan |
| Kapwing | Projects | Unlimited projects on paid plans |
| Runway | Projects | Up to 3 projects on Standard |
Inclusion rule. A tool is listed when its own page states the limit this question turns on. Order. Tools in alphabetical order.
For a series, a project cap is a structural limit. If each season, or each episode, lives in its own project, three projects is a short run; if the whole show lives in one, the cap matters less than what one project can hold.
A project limit and a storage limit are separate ceilings, and a page that lifts one can keep the other. Unlimited projects with a fixed number of gigabytes still ends at the gigabytes.
Runway's cap rises with the plan, so the limit is also a pricing step: a production that outgrows three projects on Standard pays for the next plan rather than for more projects.

Limits aside, the series work behind “Is there a limit on how many AI video projects you keep?” is described in SceneMixer's guides like this:
That is SceneMixer's core design: characters live in a persistent asset library with locked reference art, and every segment that features a character is generated against those references — same face in episode 1 and episode 50.

Typically 60–120 seconds, always 9:16 vertical, ending on a hook. SceneMixer's episode outlines are generated with that pacing, and setting a project to 9:16 makes every segment vertical (the default is 16:9).
