Guest collaborators and project members
A guest collaborator is someone given access to a project, often to edit, without holding a full seat on the plan. From 3 source pages, read 2026-09-25; no maker pays to be listed.
Luma gives edit access to guest collaborators on Plus and manages team members on its Team plan. LTX Studio counts 3 collaborators per project, so the limit follows the project rather than the account.
Kapwing invites team members into a shared workspace, where projects and files are visible to everyone invited.
Guests suit a series with outside help, a writer who checks each episode's script or a client who signs off on cuts, without adding a seat for each of them.
None of the pages says what happens to a guest's drafts when their access ends, or whether a guest can generate as well as edit. Those are questions to ask the maker before inviting someone onto episodes that matter.

2Scaling up, as one tool tells it
Limits aside, the series work behind “Guest collaborator” is described in SceneMixer's guides like this:
A project holds two things: a cast — characters, locations and props, with optional state images — and a list of episodes.
