The plan limits behind an AI series

Concurrency on AI video plans

Concurrency is how many generations one account can have running at the same moment. A job beyond the limit waits, or is refused, until a running one finishes. From 7 source pages, read 2026-09-25 to 2026-10-25; no maker pays to be listed.

Fig. 1 The first 5 of the 7 readings are drawn; the table lists them all.

Plan pages use several words for it: concurrent jobs on Elser and Higgsfield, concurrent tasks on Topview and PopShort, parallel generations on Runway and OpenArt, concurrent storyboards on OiiOii. They all count the same thing, jobs in flight at once, but not always the same kind of job.

The unit matters when comparing. A limit of 8 storyboards is not a limit of 8 finished clips, and a count that lumps images with videos leaves fewer slots for video when reference images are being made.

Concurrency says nothing about speed per job. Two plans with the same limit can still finish a batch at different times if one of them also has a faster queue.

2Scaling up, as one tool tells it

Limits aside, the series work behind “Concurrency” is described in SceneMixer's guides like this:

Doubao Seed 2.1 Turbo is the tier every account uses for text work until you change it: it reads the script, writes with AI when you ask, and generates each episode’s storyboard, at 50% of the base text rate.

The same face across an entire series is the design target and what the reference-sheet architecture delivers for the cast in your asset library.
